An Empire on the Brink of War...

The armies of Kymeer are on the march. The Emperor, desperate for glory, musters his Legions and plans to invade the neighbouring state of Syjarr. But an ancient evil lurks in the shadows of his encampment, with goals far removed from plunder and parades.

Alone in a Foreign Land...

Siddian, a young soldier of Syjarr, arrives in Kymeeri lands on a strange, desperate mission: find an old soldier, a general whose victories reshaped the world, and ask her to help his people. No plan survives contact with the enemy, however, and Siddian soon finds that lessons from his past suddenly become vital to his future.

A Journey to a Place of Legend...

Few believe in magic these days, and those that use it pay a high price. Tesh is different, and magic has kept her safe growing up, as safe as a child can be with no-one but her cat to rely upon. But her magic is getting stronger, and Tesh can see terrible visions of what is to come, as something to the north of the perilous Weirlands begins to wake up.

One Last Fight...

Soldiers, scholars, sorcery and strategy collide as forgotten power stirs, and the fate of the world hangs in the balance.
